We’re excited to introduce El Jaguar to our range this year! This exceptional coffee comes from the heart of the Reserva El Jaguar, a unique Private Wildlife Reserve in the highlands of Jinotega, Nicaragua.
Recognized by Birdlife International as an Important Bird Area, the reserve is home to an incredible 378 bird species, nearly half of Nicaragua’s total bird population. The conservation work of Liliana Chavarría, Georges Duriaux, and their son Jean-Yves Duriaux Chavarría has made this farm a beacon of biodiversity and sustainability. By balancing coffee production with wildlife preservation, they’ve created a sanctuary for birds and other wildlife while producing some of the finest specialty coffee in the region.
