An explosively sweet and creamy espresso, welcoming Beshasha into the seasonal espresso offering has been an absolute delight. Full of yellow peach and sugared nut sweetness, this washed Ethiopia offers drinkers a fruity, floral cup with an elegant acidity which elevates the mouthfeel and lingers on the palate long after drinking.
A sister crop to our Abakeno filter, the coffee is farmed by Mustefa Abakeno in the Agaro region of Western Ethiopia, and is processed at his Beshasha washing station, from which this coffee takes its name. Mustefa’s work with Falcon Specialty’s agronomist, Harun, in recent years has seen an improvement in processes at the washing station which are continuing to deliver great results in the cup.
Smooth and creamy, Beshasha offers a full bodied espresso to be enjoyed both with milk or without. As a black espresso, Beshasha is full of delicate florals and peaches, and the sherbert lemony notes really shine. Served with milk, the espresso holds its own, showcasing its duality with pecan sweetness and a bold, buttery mouthfeel.
